Cosmic Ocean from 1991 and The Orion Project from 1993 are the first two. Both works were done using a Commodore Amiga 2000. I can’t remember the 3D software used to do the modelling and animation. I remember it was a pretty good program for the price back then.

The software to create the video so it could be recorded to VHS was Amiga Vision. Due to the program’s limitations animations could not be strung together smoothly. There was a slight pause between clips. To combat this I attmepted to pause the tape at the end of each clip, then begin recording when the next clip started. As a result, you will see several glitches in the tape, or places where I just let the program pause.

Cosmic Ocean is actually a four-part New Age piece. This video is only the first part. Parts 2-4 were composed at a later date. As you will see I imported this from the original VHS tape with tracking and all 😉

The Orion Project

The Orion Project was the next video. The music was composed with the intent of putting it to video. Just like Cosmic Ocean you can see I imported this from the original VHS tape.

 

Back in Texas

The is the video I shot during my move back to Texas. I used my digital camera which can only do 3 minute video clips.

POI Chicago 9/26/07

This is a video I show at Foster Ave Beach near where I lived in Chicago. This group meets during the full moon to do Poi, or Fire Spinning. They don’t do perfomances when it’s bone chilling cold at least.
